President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved P7.372 billion in additional funds for teachers and non-teaching personnel nationwide to cover the remaining requirements for the 2025 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI).
In a press briefing, Palace spokesperson Claire Castro said the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), led by Acting Secretary Rolando Toledo, has already released the budget to support the pending SRI for Fiscal Year 2025.
The Notice of Cash Allocation was signed on 27 January 2026, allowing qualified personnel to receive their full benefits.
Eligible teachers and school staff will receive a one-time SRI of around P20,000.
On 11 December, President Marcos issued Administrative Order (AO) 40, authorizing the grant of a one-time Service Recognition Incentive to all qualified government employees for 2025.
