The Provincial Government opened a new e-library on 22 January 2026 at Cuyapon National High School in Cuyapo, aimed at strengthening digital learning and improving access to educational resources for students.

The project was funded by the Provincial Government under the leadership of Governor Aurelio “Oyie” M. Umali and Vice Governor Gil Raymond M. Umali.

The state-of-the-art e-library spans 200 square meters and is designed as a modern learning hub equipped with digital resources such as e-books, journals and multimedia learning materials. Officials said the facility aims to enhance the quality of education and strengthen digital literacy among students.

Governor Umali said the project forms part of the Provincial Government’s advocacy to provide accessible, quality and modern education to all Novo Ecijano learners.

School Principal Maria Cecilia P. Pacol expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government, saying the e-library would significantly support teachers and students in the learning process.

The inauguration, blessing and turnover ceremony was led by Vice Governor Umali and Ronaldo A. Pozon, superintendent of the Nueva Ecija Schools Division Office, together with teachers of Cuyapon National High School.

Provincial officials said there are currently 15 e-libraries established in various schools across Nueva Ecija, with more projects planned this year as part of a long-term educational legacy for Novo Ecijano youth.
