The Taguig City Police Station conducted a comprehensive inspection of its patrol vehicles and mobility equipment Thursday to assess operational readiness, officials said.
The inspection, led by officer-in-charge Col. Julius C. Añonuevo, included patrol cars, motorcycles and other assets used for daily operations and emergency response.
Authorities said the activity focused on identifying mechanical issues and ensuring all equipment is serviceable. Personnel checked for maintenance concerns and defects that could hinder response times during incidents.
Añonuevo reminded officers to report any equipment problems immediately for repair or replacement to maintain the fleet’s reliability.
According to police, the activity is part of routine station-level measures to ensure assets remain compliant with safety and operational standards.
However, officials did not release details on whether any vehicles were found to be unserviceable during the inspection.
The Taguig police said such inspections are conducted periodically to maintain the department’s preparedness for community patrols and emergency calls.
