OPPO rolls out rugged A6 Pro

OPPO has introduced the A6 Pro, positioning the handset as a durability-focused phone built for heavy daily use, with features aimed at protection against water exposure, accidental drops and battery drain.

The company said the OPPO A6 Pro carries an IP69 rating, which offers sealing against dust and protection from high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — a specification typically marketed for users who may be exposed to sudden rain or spills.

The device is also billed as having “military-grade” shock resistance, with OPPO citing a reinforced frame, tougher glass and internal impact cushions designed to reduce damage from edge and corner drops.

On power, OPPO said the A6 Pro is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery, while a 5G variant comes with a 6,500mAh battery. It also supports reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to act as a power source for other devices.

The unit includes an 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, which OPPO said is supported by thermal monitoring and adaptive current control intended to speed up charging while managing heat and battery stress.

The OPPO A6 Pro is available at OPPO stores nationwide and through online platforms, including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and the company’s official online store.
