Guided by its mission of advancing business and communities, Aboitiz Foundation — the corporate social responsibility arm of the Aboitiz Group — translated collaboration into scale in 2025 by strengthening partnerships across government, civil society, and the private sector — advancing education, livelihoods, climate resilience and disaster recovery through programs designed for long-term, inclusive growth.
This integrated approach drives progress across three strategic pillars: Future Leaders, Jobs and Climate Action, ensuring that support reaches communities where it can create lasting value.
“The progress we saw in 2025 reflects what is possible when partners work together toward a shared purpose,” said Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar, president of Aboitiz Foundation. “Collaboration allows us to move beyond short-term responses and create change that endures.”
Strengthening education and future leadership
Under its Future Leaders pillar, Aboitiz Foundation continued to expand access to quality education nationwide.
Beyond financial aid, the AuroraPH program has revolutionized digital equity, providing solar power and connectivity to 44 last-mile schools in regions like Benguet and Davao, in 2025. This initiative benefits over 4,000 students and teachers, marking progress toward the goal of electrifying 300 last-mile schools across the country.

BY leveraging strategic public-private partnerships, the Aboitiz Foundation scaled its AuroraPH program to 44 remote schools in 2025, providing the essential infrastructure and digital tools necessary for future- ready learning.

Furthermore, the Aboitiz School of Innovation, Technology, & Entrepreneurship (ASITE) — established through an endowment to the Asian Institute of Management — advances digital transformation via interest-free loans and industry-led capstone projects worth US$10 million. To add, the Aboitiz Future Leaders Scholarship Program welcomed 199 new scholars, bringing total student beneficiaries to 1,212. Nearly 200 scholars are pursuing tertiary education, supported through tuition assistance, allowances, incentives and enriched learning experiences that prepare them to contribute meaningfully to national development.
The program was strengthened through partnerships programs with Her Legacy Projects and Fulbright Philippines broadening scholars’ exposure to leadership development, global perspectives, and future-ready skills.
Beyond academics, scholars were encouraged to grow as engaged citizens. Activities included an interactive dialogue with Aisha Bowe, former rocket scientist of United States space agency NASA and STEM advocate, and participation in Brigada Eskwela, reinforcing the value of service and community responsibility.
These milestones are fueled by multisectoral partnerships with agencies like Department of Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and private partners.
