Epson is promoting its POS-style printers as tools not only for front-end retail transactions but also for back-office operations that require speed, accuracy, and reliability.
The company said its TM-H6000VI printer is designed for retail offices that handle high volumes of internal documentation, including audit receipts, approval slips, and reconciliation records. The device prints at speeds of up to 500 millimeters per second and supports receipt printing, slip documentation, and check processing in a single unit.
Epson said the printer is built for long operating hours, featuring a durable printhead and autocutter to minimize downtime in busy office environments.
The TM-H6000VI supports multiple connectivity options, including USB, Ethernet, Serial, and Parallel interfaces, with an optional Wi-Fi dongle, allowing easy integration into existing systems.
The company also highlighted the printer’s low power consumption and paper-saving features, which can reduce paper use by up to 49 percent, depending on print settings.
“Epson’s commitment has always been rooted in supporting real business needs,” said Masako Kusama, president and director of Epson Philippines Corporation. “With decades of experience in printing technology, we continue to support retail operations — including office environments — through solutions built for dependable, long-term use.”
