Maxim Rides & Food Delivery has announced the winners of its nationwide Christmas Rewards Program. The program honored driver-partners who met order targets during the holiday period.
The program covered driver-partners across the country. Maxim said it aimed to acknowledge the increased workload during one of the busiest seasons for transport and delivery services.
Prizes were awarded to winners from multiple cities nationwide which included karaoke systems, television sets, smartphones, rice cookers, washing machines and refrigerators.
The grand prize, a brand-new motorcycle, went to William Lloyd Leala, a driver-partner from Tacloban City. Maxim said the motorcycle will support his daily work on the platform.
Leala said he did not expect to win and was surprised to be chosen as the grand prize recipient. He said completing 600 orders during the program period was already an achievement for him.
Maxim president Andres Morales Jr. said the rewards program was intended to provide practical support to driver-partners and recognize their daily efforts.
