A bride-to-be who disappeared just days before her wedding earlier this month has been located in the Ilocos Region, ending a nearly three-week search that drew national attention, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) revealed on Monday.
The QCPD confirmed that personnel from Fairview Police Station 5, accompanied by the family of Sherra de Juan, are traveling to retrieve her.
QCPD spokesperson Maj. Jennifer Ganaban said the exact town where De Juan was found would not be disclosed until she is officially in police custody.
Authorities expect De Juan to arrive in Metro Manila by Monday evening following a three-hour return trip.
De Juan was last seen at a gasoline station near the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Atherton Street in North Fairview on 10 December. Her disappearance occurred just four days before she was scheduled to marry her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, on 14 December 2025.
Following her disappearance, Reyes made several emotional appeals on social media and offered a P150,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.
Police have not yet provided details regarding the circumstances of her disappearance or how she traveled to northern Luzon.
Officials said further information will be released following an initial debriefing once De Juan returns to Quezon City.
