Christmas musings on celebrities

It’s Christmas time, and we’re wishing some celebrities the best during this season of giving, sharing and forgiving.
Allow us to share some musings about stars whom we believe will sing different Christmas tunes this holiday season.
We hope this will be Kathryn Bernardo’s last Christmas as a truly single lady, as mounting rumors of her romance with Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala have reached Smokey Mountain level. It’s about time she sings “All I Want for Christmas Is You” to Alcala. Her “Silent Night” demeanor regarding her living arrangement with Alcala — as hinted by Ogie Diaz in his recent aria “Sure Won’t Feel Like Christmas” but “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas” — might finally spill some beans about their clandestine romance.
We’re wishing Coco Martin and Julia Montes a “White Christmas,” as rumors of them applying for a Schengen visa — not only for themselves but also for their three kids — have reached a fever pitch. Will all five of them sing “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow” this Christmas?

Clearly, it’s a “Blue Christmas” for Kim Chiu, whose decision to sue her older sister Lakambini was believed to be reckless, resulting in damage to her sibling’s personality. Now, her sister is entirely denied a “Wonderful Christmastime.”
It’s “Christmas Without You” for Andrea Brillantes, whose split with her Jordanian-Filipino boyfriend seems to coincide with her cutting ties with ABS-CBN — oblivious to the fact that everyone who left the Kapamilya network has become a has-been of intergalactic proportion.
While Ivana Alawi always brings “Joy to the World” with her Santa Claus posturing on her vlogs, some call her content “poverty porn,” claiming it exploits the poorest of the poor. But most are glad she floods the streets with her hard-earned money, unlike corrupt lawmakers and contractors whose greed floods the streets with grief, death, and wreckage of devastating enormity.
With her inactivity on television and in movies, one might ask, “Would Santa Tell Me” that Bea Alonzo’s career has sunk to deep-sea level? Fret not — Vincent Co is sure to give Alonzo a “Wonderful Christmastime.”
James Reid must have wished “Santa Baby” to bring him luck in his new teleserye with Kathryn Bernardo, as his long absence from television nearly rendered him anonymous.
