Professionals dealing with unpredictable weather may have another option for keeping workwear presentable, with LG positioning its Styler clothing care system as an alternative to frequent dry-cleaning during the rainy months.
The LG Styler is designed to refresh and sanitize clothes exposed to moisture, odors and airborne particles during daily commutes.
Using steam generated from water, the unit is built to reduce bacteria and viruses on fabrics without chemical additives, making it suitable for office wear such as suits, blazers and uniforms.
For damp or rain-soaked garments, the Styler uses low-temperature heat-pump drying meant to prevent shrinkage and fabric damage.
It also features a moving hanger mechanism that gently shakes clothes to help remove wrinkles and dust, reducing the need for ironing between uses.
The system includes a dedicated function for trousers that maintains creases while minimizing wrinkles, aimed at preserving a polished look for formal wear.
A built-in dehumidifying feature is intended to help manage indoor moisture, a common issue during prolonged rainy periods.
LG said the Styler can be controlled remotely through a mobile app, allowing users to schedule and monitor cycles while away from home.
