The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) concluded its 2025 online orientation session with 577 participants committed to promoting peaceful conflict resolution.
The last batch of the 2025 ADR Orientation was held via Zoom on 20 November. Participants came from both the public and private sectors.
The event highlighted the importance of accessible and efficient conflict resolution mechanisms. Division chiefs of the OADR guided discussions on the core principles and practical applications of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Topics included the foundations and history of ADR, an overview of the government’s current ADR initiatives, and details of the OADR’s training and accreditation programs.
The orientation emphasized ADR’s role in fostering accessible and peaceful ways to resolve disputes. It also featured the “OADR Habi Forum,” an interactive platform for participants to ask questions and engage directly with OADR programs.
The office vowed to continue promoting effective dispute resolution across all sectors in the coming year.
