Actor, businessman, and now multi-time Harvard attendee Matteo Guidicelli has once again taken a seat inside one of the world’s most prestigious classrooms — this time for the Creating Brand Value program at Harvard Business School (HBS).
In his latest vlog, Matteo shared how returning to Harvard for a second round of executive education felt both familiar and transformative, offering fresh insights and deeper confidence as he continues to sharpen his skills as an entrepreneur.
“It’s extremely good to be back here in Harvard for the second time. It’s really awesome,” Matteo said, reflecting on his first few days in the course. The program, which focuses on brand leadership, innovation, and strategic marketing, gathers creative professionals and business leaders from around the world — a setting Matteo believes he deeply fits into.
From Overwhelmed Student to Confident Learner
Matteo couldn’t help but compare his first experience at Harvard to his second. Back in 2024, when he attended the Negotiation & Competitive Decision-Making program, he admitted he was nervous and intimidated by the brilliance around him.
“The first time you’re here, you’re always afraid to raise your hand, to speak… You’re very intimidated with the people around you,” he recalled. That early hesitation is something many executive students feel — walking into a room full of CEOs, trailblazers, and global industry leaders.
But this visit felt entirely different.
“The second time around was a different feeling. It was really cool, more comfortable. You know the place; you know where to go, you know what to do. You have a better idea of everything,” he said.
Matteo described the experience as liberating — the kind of confidence that comes not from knowing all the answers, but from knowing he belongs in the room.
A Creative Circle in a Business Classroom
This latest course felt particularly aligned with Matteo’s career. Unlike his previous program, which was attended by leaders from varied industries, Creating Brand Value placed him among creatives, marketers, producers, and artists.
“And I think this course is same-minded people like me,” he shared. “More marketing, more producer, more artist side, more creative people are part of the course.”
For Matteo — who now runs food ventures, represents multiple brands, and continues to evolve his career — being surrounded by participants who understood both the artistic and entrepreneurial mindset made learning more collaborative, meaningful, and immediately applicable.
A Look Back at His First Harvard Journey
Matteo first joined Harvard Business School’s executive education programs in 2024, where he studied Negotiation & Competitive Decision-Making, a rigorous and globally acclaimed course.
He previously described the experience as “inspiring and eye-opening,” noting that he worked alongside 88 participants from 31 nationalities and 27 industries. He also trained directly under respected Harvard professors and authors like Max Bazerman, Deepak Malhotra, and Guhan Subramanian — figures whose works are considered foundational in the field of negotiation.
“Being part of such an accomplished group was invaluable,” Matteo reflected in his earlier vlog. “I’m grateful for the chance to learn from the best and bring back new insights on negotiation and decision-making.”
He also expressed appreciation for the HBS executive education staff, thanking them for being supportive and attentive to participants’ needs.
A Growing Legacy Beyond Showbiz
Matteo Guidicelli has long proven that he is more than an actor or television personality. In recent years, he has charted a clear path as an entrepreneur — investing in businesses, sharpening his leadership skills, and seeking global-level education. His willingness to learn, evolve, and step out of his comfort zone reflects not only ambition but a deep commitment to personal growth.
Returning to Harvard for a second program shows Matteo’s expanding vision: to elevate his craft, uplift his ventures, and bring world-class practices into the Philippine business landscape.
With each course, Matteo isn’t just building a résumé. He’s building a mindset — disciplined, curious, and future-oriented.
And if his confidence in the classroom is any sign, Matteo’s next chapters in business and entertainment will be his most exciting yet.
