Kris Jenner has once again proven that in the Kardashian-Jenner universe, statements aren’t always made with words, sometimes, a jacket is enough.
On 8 December, the 70-year-old momager quietly signaled her approval of Kylie Jenner’s relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet by wearing merch from his upcoming A24 film 'Marty Supreme.' The moment appeared on her Instagram Stories, where she posed in front of a fully decorated Christmas tree, arms open, wearing a blue Marty Supreme bomber jacket over a red dress.
“MARTY SUPREME Christmas Day!!!!!!” she wrote on the photo, making her endorsement loud without saying much at all.
The gesture didn’t go unnoticed, especially since the piece has become something of a shared uniform among the couple’s inner circle. Kylie was first seen wearing the same jacket in October during the Yankees–Blue Jays ALDS game, where she and Chalamet were spotted together. Chalamet himself wore it in a promotional clip for the film, and Tom Brady even made an appearance in it on Instagram last month.
Directed by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme follows Chalamet as “Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, [who] goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,” according to A24. The film opens in theaters on Christmas Day, a release date Kris seems intent on reminding her 50 million followers about.
Kylie and Chalamet, first linked in April 2023, have become increasingly public over the past year, making their red carpet debut at the David Di Donatello Awards in Rome last May.
“Timothée talked about Kylie all the time while filming Marty Supreme,” one insider said, adding that she “even flew out to visit him on set in N.Y.C.” The pair also reunited in London while he was working on Dune, strengthening the impression that the relationship has become a steady fixture in both their lives.
