Almost P300,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations in Binangonan, Rizal, on Saturday night.
In the first operation at around 8:30 p.m. in Barangay Calumpang, anti-narcotics operatives arrested two suspects identified by their aliases Benson, 39, and Charo, 40—both residents of Barangay Darangan.
Confiscated from them were several sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 28.51 grams, valued at P193,868 based on the standard drug price, along with P500 in buy-bust money, a cellphone, and a sling bag.
At around 2:20 a.m. Sunday in Barangay Pantok, authorities also apprehended two more suspects, identified as alias Archie, 35, and alias Nunoy, 33—both residents of Barangay Bilibiran.
Seized during the operation were 15.39 grams of suspected shabu worth P104,652, a coin purse containing two sachets of suspected shabu, P500 buy-bust money, and P500 in recovered cash.
The four suspects are detained at the Binangonan Municipal Police Station custodial facility and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
