A starry, starry affair

Fashion celebrates stars and style this holiday season. Designer brands have gotten all dolled up head to toe with the latest festive looks.

The stars were aligned recently at the Gucci Gift 2025 and Cruise 2026 collection preview events held on 18 November at the Greenbelt 4 store in Makati City.

The season’s coveted key pieces were displayed in the store but, most importantly, celebrities appeared stunningly dressed in Gucci. Shining in their own authentic and distinct style, each VIP fashionably had a look of their own.

Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey, Alessandro Belloli (Gucci Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Guam’s general manager) and Binh Wong (Gucci Philippines and Guam’s market director).

Communications manager of Gucci Philippines and Guam Andee Que and Anne Curtis-Smith wore a Gucci Cruise 2026 printed silk twill dress, Gucci large shoulder bag with chain, carp-shaped earrings, and women’s Gucci Signoria slingback pump

Marian Rivera paired a grey-brown silk print wide-shoulder top with heritage ribbon and puffed sleeves with textured brown velvet leggings. She accessorized with a Gucci Half Horsebit medium shoulder bag, sparkling 18k diamond Horsebit earrings, and chic Gucci Signoria slingback pumps.

James Reid donned a GG canvas padded jacket, a piece-dyed popeline shirt with embroidery, wool grain de poudre pants, a Gucci Half Horsebit crossbody bag, a belt with an Interlocking G buckle, and men’s loafers with horsebit detailing.

Janine Gutierrez wore a Gucci Cruise 2026 GG boutonné wool tweed jacket, GG silk jacquard oversized shirt, GG boutonné wool tweed skirt, GG Marmont medium shoulder bag, and women's pump with crystal Interlocking.

The A-list powerhouse attendees in Gucci Cruise 2026 collection included Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey, Anne Curtis, Marian Rivera, James Reid, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Mond Gutierrez, Janine Gutierrez, Bella Racelis, Jaren Garcia and Tim Yap. Almost like an homage to authenticity, the brand presented a wide selection of the latest in ready-to-wear, accessories, bags and footwear.

Kylie Verzosa combined a light pink silk twill wide-shoulder top with puff sleeves and a brown-beige diagonal GG velvet chenille pencil midi skirt. She completed the look with a Gucci Half Horsebit medium shoulder bag and elegant Gucci 97 heeled pumps.

Jarren Garcia dressed in a Gucci Cruise 2026 ensemble, featuring a blue-and-white tartan cotton padded overshirt, an azure striped cotton popeline shirt with fil coupé detailing, bisque double-cotton twill chino pants with web accents, and a medium GG Emblem accessory.

The collection takes inspiration from Gucci’s place of origin — Florence, Italy. The home of the Renaissance, for its own sense of rebirth, epitomizes the brand’s essence, enduring artisanal and commercial legacy. The iconic city served as a meaningful setting for the Cruise collection. It has a distinctive sense of Italian style, characterized by sprezzatura — the perfectly imperfect, a studied effortlessness — a way of living and dressing that has been integral to Gucci’s aesthetic since the beginning.

Bella Racelis styled a black crepe wool coat and skirt with a GG Marmont medium shoulder bag and classic women’s Gucci Horsebit ballet flats.

Mond Gutierrez sported a white heavy cotton popeline shirt, wool pants with selvedge detailing, a Gucci Horsebit 1955 Aura mini shoulder bag, a reversible GG Marmont belt and rectangular sunglasses.

The world of Gucci has always been cinematic in its scope, stylized, character-driven and individually adaptable, a statement eternally echoed like an immortalized star in global fashion.
