FELIX RISING: Catarata’s first solo show sells out
Whether presenting a pop-up or an art exhibition, the space has cultivated an audience that comes ready to discover something special.

Cebu-born artist Felix Catarata’s first solo exhibition, Gathered, opened to a spectacular reception on 17 October, with all XX paintings sold before the event drew to a close at 7 p.m. The exhibition brought together a series of still lifes inspired by Catarata’s adopted hometown, Bogo City, along Cebu’s northeastern coast. Largely self-taught, the artist has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in the atmosphere and everyday character of provincial life.
The evening drew established collectors and first-time buyers alike. The sellout underscores Vetted’s growing presence as a destination for art, design, fashion, vintage finds and beautifully considered home accents.
Whether presenting a pop-up or an art exhibition, the space has cultivated an audience that comes ready to discover something special.
Gathered runs from 18 to 31 October, with viewing from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Vetted (Unit 126, G/F, Mile Long Building, Amorsolo Street corner V. Rufino Street, Makati City).
