

The 2025 Search for the Ten Outstanding Firefighters of the Philippines (TOFF) has entered its second year under the partnership of SM Prime and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), recognizing firefighters nationwide for bravery, dedication and public service.
The program, launched in 2024, honors commissioned and non-commissioned officers who have shown notable commitment and courage during emergencies, introduced innovations in fire safety or disaster response, and demonstrated sustained service to their communities.
From nationwide nominations, the field has been narrowed to 20 finalists who underwent evaluations and panel interviews.

The Top 10 awardees will be recognized on Dec. 4 at SMX Aura and will receive a plaque and a ₱250,000 cash prize.
Organizers said the program aims to highlight individual achievement in the BFP as well as efforts to strengthen fire safety and community resilience nationwide.
