QC night club shooting suspects face criminal raps

Police have filed criminal charges against two suspects involved in a shooting incident at a nightclub in Barangay Laging Handa last 16 November, according to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Tuesday.
QCPD acting director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio identified the primary suspect as Jayson Dellosa and his associate, Joseph Santos Juan, also known as “Pepe,” who served as the club’s operations manager.
Reports said that the incident occurred early Sunday morning. Silvio said Dellosa arrived outside the club around 3 a.m. and waited for Juan. When Juan arrived at 3:12 a.m., he allegedly escorted Dellosa inside, allowing him to bypass the club’s standard security frisking procedure.
At approximately 4:42 a.m., a disturbance erupted inside the club involving Dellosa’s companion and a 23-year-old male victim. Dellosa allegedly fired a single shot, striking the victim in the head before fleeing the scene.
The victim was initially taken to St. Luke’s Medical Center and later transferred to Quezon City General Hospital, where he is now reported to be in stable condition.
Personnel from Kamuning Police Station 10, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, and the Scene of the Crime Operatives immediately processed the scene, recovering a fired cartridge and a deformed bullet.
A thorough investigation, which included CCTV review, witness interviews and coordination with San Juan City officials, confirmed Dellosa’s identity. Authorities cited he is a registered gun owner and a known member of the Original Pinoy Gangster under the San Juan Hood.
On 19 November, frustrated murder charges were filed against Dellosa. Juan was charged as an accessory to frustrated murder for facilitating Dellosa’s entry and circumventing security procedures.
“Through diligent investigation and persistent follow-up operations, we are ensuring that justice is pursued while respecting due process,” Silvio said. “The QCPD continues to intensify efforts to locate and apprehend the suspects.”
