Haleon, the consumer healthcare company behind brands such as Centrum, Sensodyne and Robitussin, has appointed Maimai Madrid-Punzalan as its new general manager for the Philippines. She succeeds Jeffrey Go, who has been named general manager for Haleon Taiwan.
Punzalan brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, commercial strategy, and retail transformation across multinational consumer goods firms and the start-up sector. She previously served as GM for Sarimart and chief marketing officer for Growsari Enterprise.
She steps in as Haleon accelerates its “Win as One” strategy — aimed at reaching one billion more consumers globally by 2030 through science-led innovation and wider access to everyday health solutions.
In the Philippines, Haleon continues to lead the consumer health market, with Centrum ranked as the country’s #1 multivitamin, while Sensodyne remains the leading toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
Punzalan said she plans to expand Haleon’s reach amid the country’s growing emphasis on wellness and self-care.
“Haleon's purpose to deliver better everyday health with humanity resonates strongly with me,” Punzalan said. “Together with the Haleon team, our customers and partners, I am excited to create meaningful impact and bring health into more hands across the Philippines.”
