Shell Helix gathered workshop owners and partners in Clark for a day of straight talk on how small and mid-sized shops can keep up with modern cars and changing customer habits.
The Fast Track Auto Workshop Business Summit, held at the SMX Convention Center, brought together Shell executives, digital experts, and guest speakers to share practical ways workshops can sharpen their skills and operations.
Jackie Famorca, vice president of Shell Lubricants Philippines, said Shell Helix aims to grow with its partner workshops through steady support, from mechanic training to better tools and marketing assistance. She introduced Shell’s three-part roadmap for shops: Be Smarter in Business, Be Sharper in Innovations, and Be Stronger in Operations.
Each topic came with its own session. AutoDeal reviewer and creator Caco Tirona led the business track and explained how hybrid and electric vehicles are slowly entering the local market. He said workshops need to understand these new systems early to stay ready for the next wave of cars.
In the innovation session, TikTok Shop Philippines education and incentives manager Klaude Mandaya shared how shops can reach more customers by using social media and online selling tools. She said simple, consistent posts already make a big difference.
The operations track focused on digital payments. Maya Business head of national sales, Edbert Golangco, discussed how cashless options speed up transactions and help shops keep clearer records, which customers now expect.
Shell Lubricants Philippines country marketing manager Ika Halili said the workshops that adapt today will be the ones people trust tomorrow. Shell Helix brand manager Jensen Garcia also outlined the support given to partner workshops through the B.E.S.T. program, which covers brand portfolio, equipment, social media presence, and training.
With more than a thousand partner workshops nationwide, Shell says its goal is to help shops grow while giving car owners dependable service close to home.
