The United States has provided additional relief assistance to “one of their closest friends, partners, and allies,” the Philippines, after Luzon and parts of the Visayas were hit by Super Typhoon Uwan.
After extending an initial $1 million (approximately P58 million) in aid, the U.S. added another $1.5 million (approximately P87 million) on Saturday morning.
