CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) announced Saturday that it is deploying 2,272 personnel to Metro Manila to augment the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) for the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) rally from 16 to 18 November.
The deployment includes 1,138 officers forming Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) units and support teams, along with 1,139 standby forces, including female officers and the Regional Special Support Force (RSSF). These units are prepared to respond as needed in Metro Manila.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said his personnel are fully prepared to support NCRPO and ensure that the activity remains safe and orderly. He expressed confidence in the INC community’s peace-loving nature, expecting the event to proceed smoothly.
“Inaasahan po natin na lahat ay sumunod sa patakaran para sa maayos na pagtitipon na ito,” he said, cautioning potential troublemakers about the consequences of their actions.
“We have measures in place to ensure that anyone who violates the law will be held accountable.”
The mobilization aligns with the PNP’s goals of enhancing police operations and public safety. The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3), with 416 personnel, will lead the PRO3 contingent, supported by teams from across Central Luzon.
Peñones assured the public that officers will maintain maximum tolerance and professionalism, working closely with stakeholders to ensure a peaceful event.
