Philippine Airlines (PAL) celebrates a new chapter in its storied legacy with the relaunch of Mabuhay Magazine, the flag carrier’s official inflight publication. 

The event took place at Blackbird Restaurant in Makati, the former Nielson Tower, site of the old Manila airport and the departure point of PAL’s first flight. 

The event brought together PAL executives, tourism officials, creatives and media partners for an afternoon tea and evening celebration.

Mabuhay has been a trusted companion in the skies — a curated guide to Filipino culture, travel and hospitality. Under co–editors-in-chief Pauline Juan and Erwin Romulo, the magazine takes on a refreshed editorial direction, blending cultural insight with contemporary storytelling and highlighting Filipino talent and creativity at home and abroad. 

Published quarterly, it aims to introduce a new generation of travelers to the people, ideas and perspectives that give this country its pulse. Each issue will feature a guest editor wherein voices from different fields will help shape how stories are told and bringing own insights on Filipino creativity and excellence today. 

With its renewed vision and design it continues to be a celebration of life, travel and all things distinctly Filipino.
