Alex Eala hopes to have a great 2026 after seeing her campaign this year propel her to heights unimaginable.
Eala is optimistic that her campaign in 2025 will not just be a one-time thing and will instead be a stepping stone.
The 20-year-old Rafael Nadal Academy graduate is currently sitting at Top 50 of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings.
“My dreams have truly come alive. It’s such a privilege to look back at this year and relive these amazing moments through memory,” Eala said.
“This marks the beginning of what I hope to be a long, happy and fruitful career on tour! Thank you everybody, see you in 2026!”
Eala is currently in Thailand with her family for a much-needed break after a grueling season.
After Eala’s breakthrough semifinal in the Miami Open last March, Eala also made her debut in three Grand Slam competitions, namely the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.
Eala even got her first-ever Grand Slam main draw win after beating Clara Tauson of Denmark, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6, in the first round.
She even won her first WTA title after clinching the Guadalajara 125 Open in Mexico last September.
Her next competition will be in the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand from 9 to 20 December before flying to Macau for the Macau Masters on 27 and 28 December.
