Local government units (LGUs) have announced the suspension of classes on Monday, 10 November, and Tuesday, 11 November, in preparation for the effects of super typhoon Uwan.

Alternative learning arrangements have been implemented in some areas to ensure continuity of education despite the storm.

Super typhoon Uwan entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday night and is expected to make landfall over the southern portion of Isabela or northern portion of Aurora late Sunday evening or early Monday morning.
