Mitsubishi has unveiled the Elevance Concept, a plug-in hybrid crossover SUV that brings together electric power and all-terrain confidence.
The Elevance presents a clean, sturdy design that signals where Mitsubishi wants to go next. The cabin sits like a bright capsule on a strong lower frame, giving it a mix of refinement and ruggedness.
The brand’s Dynamic Shield front design returns with a sharper honeycomb grille, while smooth lines stretch from the headlights to the rear. It’s a look that feels ready for both weekday traffic and weekend trails.
The concept is powered by a plug-in hybrid system paired with a quad-motor all-wheel-drive setup. In-wheel motors at the front add precision to steering, while twin motors at the rear manage traction through Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control system.
The battery alone can handle short commutes on full electric power, while the gasoline engine kicks in for longer drives or when charging points are out of reach.
Mitsubishi also says the engine can run on carbon-neutral fuel, showing its focus on sustainable travel.
A wide digital display runs across the dashboard, joining driver information and entertainment in one clean panel. The three-row layout fits six passengers, with soft leather seats designed for long-distance comfort.
The built-in AI Co-Driver learns driving habits and road conditions that offer route suggestions and automatically adjust driving modes. It’s meant to make every trip easier and more intuitive.
The Elevance’s onboard battery can power outdoor equipment and small appliances. Mitsubishi also previewed a matching trailer concept with a compact kitchen and shower.
Mitsubishi president and CEO Takao Kato said the Elevance captures “the timeless wonder of exploration” and reflects the brand’s vision for future mobility that keeps adventure alive through electrification.
Mitsubishi has not announced any production plans or confirmed if the Elevance will be sold in other markets, including the Philippines. For now, it remains a concept that gives a glimpse of how the brand imagines the next era of electric adventure.
