The Romanov lesson isn’t about revenge. It’s about what happens when institutions fail and only force is left.
Police arrested a 33-year-old man early Sunday morning for the illegal possession of live ammunition in Barangay Manuyo Dos, authorities said.
The suspect, identified as alias “Ethelbert,” a resident of Barangay BF Homes, was taken into custody by the Las Piñas City Police Station along BF Martinville at 5:55 a.m.
Initial reports indicate that officers responded to a citizen’s tip about a suspicious man allegedly carrying a pistol.
When police arrived, they spotted the suspect with the handle of what appeared to be a gun visible from his sling bag.
Upon checking the bag, authorities found a replica pistol, but they also discovered a real Canik TP Series 9mm magazine loaded with one live round of ammunition.
Ethelbert was arrested and faces a complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, which will be filed before the Las Piñas City Prosecutor’s Office.
