Gokongwei-led budget airlines Cebu Pacific (CEB) cautioned passengers of expected airport congestion during the Undas holiday rush and urged early check-in to prevent missed flights.
“We advise passengers to be at the airport at least three hours before departure for domestic flights, and four hours for international flights,” the airline said in an advisory on Thursday, noting check-in counters close 45 minutes before domestic departures and one hour before international flights.
CEB also reminded passengers to verify their terminal assignments. Flights starting with 5J depart from NAIA Terminal 3, while DG and T6 turboprop flights use Terminal 2.
“Starting October 26, some DG flights between Manila and Naga and all flights between Manila and San Jose, Occidental Mindoro will be transferred to Clark International Airport,” it said.
To reduce queues, the airline encouraged online check-in via its app or website. International travelers must complete their eTravel forms within 72 hours before departure at www.etravel.gov.ph.
Passengers are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item with a combined weight of 7kg. Prepaid baggage purchased online is “up to 4x cheaper than airport charges,” CEB said.
“We sincerely appreciate every Juan for choosing to fly with us,” the airline added.
