Some 180 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) are expected to venture into agribusiness after completing their training under the Enhanced Farm Business School (FBS) program at the Agricultural Training Institute of the Department of Agriculture.

By learning farm business planning, operations and marketing, the ARBs can become competitive players in the modern agricultural economy, said provincial agrarian reform program officer II Abdullah Balindong.

The graduates came from six agrarian reform beneficiary organizations with 30 graduates from each ARBO. Graduation rites were held in their respective municipalities.

The ARBOs are Naldan Creek Irrigators Association in Lambayong, the Palavilla Barangay Irrigation Development Association in Lutayan, the Tuka Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association in Bagumbayan, the Tagumpay Vegetable Growers Association in Esperanza, the Buklod Bawasa Association in Senator Ninoy Aquino, and the SV Farmers Association in Lebak.
