Farewell to an icon
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, the legendary Public Relations maven Susan Peña Joven.
She passed away on 17 October, Friday, at 2:34 a.m., 11 days after her 76th birthday.
She suffered Rapid Interstitial Lung Disease associated with the rare autoimmune disease, Anti-MDA-5+ Amyopathic Dermatomyositis.
Ms. Joven leaves her only son Lloyd with wife Karen and son Santi, and only daughter Ginggay with husband Noel and children Noey and Chloe.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
Wake will be from 22 to 25 October, 3 to 10 p.m. Inurnment is on 23 October, 10 a.m. at Heritage Memorial Park.
