Laika Tudlasan was on target once again, firing 13 points to headline Biñan’s fourth straight win in only 76 minutes of play to own solo second spot at 5-1 just behind the unbeaten Dasmariñas City Monarchs with a 5-0 slate.
She drew solid coverage from Samantha Gabrielle Tiratira, Marianne Lei Angelique Padillon, Heart Villaflores and Kacelyn Punzalan with nine points each as Biñan proved its stature as the last season’s runner-up in the upstart league founded by boxing great Manny Pacquiao.
Biñan’s lone loss so far came against reigning champion Quezon Tangerines, priming up for a gigantic duel against the mighty Monarchs on Saturday in Marikina.
