Golf enthusiasts across the Philippines have reason to celebrate as BingoPlus, the country’s leading entertainment platform, unveils its Future Ace program, a world-class initiative designed to nurture the next generation of Filipino golf talent.
Twenty aspiring golfers were recently selected from a pool of pre-registered candidates, standing out for their perseverance, skill, and passion for the sport. These hopefuls will now take their first swing toward professional-level competition, beginning with a Pro-Am tournament at Sta. Elena Golf Club on 22 October.
Before that, the candidates will gain exposure at the Asian Development Tournament, a prestigious event sanctioned by the Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA), set for 15 October at Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac. Here, the Future Ace participants will compete alongside both local and international professionals, a rare opportunity to learn from seasoned players and showcase their talent on a bigger stage.
In a bid to engage golf fans nationwide, BingoPlus has opened an online voting system from 10 to 15 October, allowing supporters to influence which candidates make it to the final round.
Fans can cast their votes by reacting to, commenting on, or sharing the candidates’ official posts, with each type of engagement counting toward the total vote tally. Every click, comment, or share brings the players closer to realizing their dream of becoming professional golfers.
Winners will be determined on 16 October through a combination of public voting and a panel evaluation. Candidates will be assessed on several criteria, including golf skills performance, commitment and availability, personality and sportsmanship, passion and dedication to the sport, and overall impact.
From the 20 contenders, only three will be crowned Future Aces. Each winner will receive a P200,000 training fund, P100,000 worth of golf equipment, and the invaluable opportunity to play alongside international players.
To further engage fans, BingoPlus will hold a raffle for followers, giving 15 lucky participants P3,000 in SM Gift Certificates each. Fans can join by sharing the official campaign posts using the hashtags #BPxISPhilippines and #BPFutureAce.
The Future Ace Program is part of BingoPlus’ ongoing commitment to supporting the sports community, providing structured training, mentorship, and competitive opportunities for young golfers. For these 20 dreamers, the program represents not just a chance to compete, but a stepping stone toward a bright professional future in Philippine golf.
