Quentin Millora-Brown can finally suit up for Gilas Pilipinas after the International Basketball Asociation (FIBA) classified him as a local player.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) announced the development late Friday as Millora-Brown will be able to join for the national team and not take up the naturalized player slot reserved for Justin Brownlee.
"We're pleased with the update from FIBA because a player of his size and skill can make a positive impact for Gilas Pilipinas Men," SBP president Al Panlilio said in a statement.
The former Unuversity of the Philippines star could see himself suiting up for Gilas as early as 28 November when they face Guam to start their 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers campaign.
