The local government of Pasay City has announced the resumption of its free shuttle service for another year starting Monday. The program, which uses five Toyota Lite Ace units, is a partnership with Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines Inc. (TMSPH) and Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP).
TMSPH will provide a free one-year subscription to its “myTOYOTA Shuttle PH” app, which offers optimized route planning and seat booking. The company’s “Toyota Fleet Connected Service” will also provide administrators with vehicle usage and driving behavior data.
The service, which ran from December 2023 to January 2025, is part of a corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at enhancing community mobility through connected and shared technologies.
Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano was joined at the announcement by Vice Mayor Mark Calixto, city councilor Ian Vendivel, TMSPH president Ma. Christina Fe Arevalo, TMSPH chief operating officer Ryo Yokoyama and TMP senior vice president Jhohana Mamonong.
