The future is bright — and it starts here.

The Aboitiz Future Leaders, the flagship college scholarship program of the Aboitiz Foundation established in 2000, is a gateway to a brighter future for young, talented individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential. Over the years, the program has become more than just a scholarship — it is a platform for personal growth, professional development and nation-building.

This year, the Aboitiz Future Leaders is opening more doors than ever. With a smoother and more accessible application process, the scholarship program now welcomes incoming sophomores from partner universities, giving aspiring leaders the opportunity to start their journey earlier.

The application schedule is from 1 August 2025 to 1 September 2025. Successful applicants will be announced on 30 September 2025.

Empowering scholars beyond the classroom

The Aboitiz Future Leaders scholarship program does more than cover full tuition fees and allowances. It offers scholars mentorship from industry professionals, leadership development programs, and skill-building opportunities that prepare them for real-world challenges. These initiatives are designed to nurture scholars into future leaders who will make a meaningful impact in their communities and industries.

“Aboitiz Future Leaders Scholarship has been instrumental in alleviating the financial burden of studying at a prestigious university far from home, while also providing valuable opportunities for personal and career growth through its engaging and enriching activities,” says Monalizza Ecat, a scholar taking up BS Chemical Engineering at UP-Diliman, Quezon City.

The program also directly aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education while promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. By providing financial support, guidance, and immersive experiences, the Aboitiz Future Leaders helps create a more inclusive educational landscape and empowers students to reach their full potential.

A legacy of leadership

For over two decades, graduates of the Aboitiz Future Leaders have carried forward the Aboitiz Group’s commitment to advancing business and communities. Many have become catalysts for change — innovating in their fields, leading community initiatives, and embodying the values of integrity, responsibility, and service.

“I’m beyond grateful to be part of the Aboitiz Foundation Future Leaders. Becoming an Aboitiz Scholar back in 2014 was a life-changing moment for me. Since then, the journey has been filled with growth, learning, and purpose,” says Diana Lei Nieves, a former scholar.

This year’s scholars will join this proud legacy, benefiting from expanded opportunities, a vibrant network of peers and mentors, and the full backing of a program dedicated to shaping tomorrow’s changemakers.
