Under the strategy, Security Bank plans to deepen its relationships with affluent and emerging affluent clients through wealth management while expanding entrepreneur banking to serve business owners.
Its corporate and institutional banking business will target opportunities linked to major projects, business ecosystems and growing cross-border activity.
The bank also plans to strengthen transaction banking, including payments, collections and cash management, to increase its role in clients’ day-to-day financial activities and deepen its deposit base.
Security Bank said its strategic partnership with MUFG Bank will support its cross-border ambitions by combining its Philippine market knowledge with MUFG’s global network and sector expertise.
The bank also cited its Japan Desk as a platform for serving multinational companies and supporting investment and business flows across international corridors.
Beyond its core banking operations, Security Bank will continue to tap its broader ecosystem, including Home Credit, Mitsubishi Motors Finance and SB Finance, to expand its consumer and mobility financing reach.
“We’re not trying to be everything to everyone,” Lee said. “We’re deliberate about where we grow. We will focus on areas where we believe we can build a meaningful advantage over time. We know why we can win. And we intend to earn that right every day.”
