Three-division champion John Riel Casimero, widely regarded as the only one capable of beating Naoya “Monster” Inoue, has found a new promoter.

Kameda Promotions has reportedly signed the brash Filipino banger to a contract in anticipation of the lifting of his one-year suspension by the Japan Boxing Commission (JBC).

Casimero was slapped a one-year ban by the JBC for coming in overweight against American Saul Sanchez in Yokohama.

Although Casimero knocked Sanchez out, his win wasn’t well-received given his infraction.

During his suspension, Casimero was unable to land a meaningful fight.

Holding a 34-4-1 win-loss-draw record with 23 knockouts, Casimero turned 36 last February and is in a mad rush to get a fight.

Kameda Promotions is one of Japan’s top promotional outfits.

It could not yet be determined when and where Casimero is going to fight next but an announcement is imminent given his age.

Casimero is currently rated No. 10 by the International Boxing Federation, No. 13 by the World Boxing Council and No. 6 by the World Boxing Organization.
