Leading global technology brand HONOR Philippines is set to launch its latest smartphone, the HONOR 400 Pro 5G, on 2 August, equipped with a 200MP Super Sensing AI Camera System.
Ahead of its official debut, HONOR partnered with The New Hue for the Video Music Awards 2025, where the device’s advanced camera features were tested during the celebration of mainstream and emerging Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists.
“As an institution that champions top-of-the-line technology, we also recognize local talents. This partnership with The New Hue reflects our commitment in supporting the music scene in the country together with our upcoming smartphone HONOR 400 5G,” said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng.
The New Hue Awards, held on 27 July, honored standout OPM acts with titles such as Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Group Artist of the Year. Among those in attendance were popular artists Cup of Joe, Maki, Amiel Sol, Philia, Hev Abi, and Janine Teñoso.
The HONOR 400 Pro 5G is equipped with a 50MP Telephoto Camera featuring a Sony IMX856 sensor, 3x optical zoom, and optical image stabilization (OIS), enabling sharp and stable zoom shots. It also includes the AI Enhanced Portrait feature that captures ultra-high-definition portraits while preserving accurate skin tones and colors.
Further boosting its imaging credentials, the phone incorporates an AI Super Zoom powered by AIGC (AI-generated content) technology, delivering up to 50x digital zoom, ideal for capturing detailed photos of distant subjects.
HONOR says the upcoming device reflects its vision of marrying powerful mobile photography with local creativity — a nod to its growing commitment to the Philippine market.
