Gilas Pilipinas delivered a 103-98 win over the Macau Black Bears in their send-off game at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Monday.
Justin Brownlee scored 32 points and collected 15 rebounds as the Philippines won its tune-up game before the FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah.
"I want to give credit to the guys. They really came out and committed to play defense in the second half," head coach Tim Cone said.
"What is going to work for us is our defense. That is what we're going to hang our hat on."
Will Douglas scored 23 points for Macau in a losing effort.
