The top eight teams advancing to the Knockout Stage of the 2025 Mid Season Cup have been determined following an intense Group Stage at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

With a staggering $3 million prize pool on the line, the stage is set for a high-stakes showdown featuring Team Liquid PH, ONIC PH, Aurora Turkey, Mythic SEAL, ONIC ID, RRQ Hoshi, SRG OG, and Team Spirit.

Moonton Games, the developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, introduced a fresh twist to this year’s tournament format—granting unbeaten teams from the Group Stage the power to choose their opponents for the Knockout Stage.

Reigning MPL PH champion Team Liquid PH, the first of two Filipino squads to advance, opted to challenge Aurora Turkey, led by Master the Basics and Dex Star. Their highly anticipated clash is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, at the Amazon Arena.

ONIC PH, meanwhile, was picked by Russian esports powerhouse Team Spirit. Their match is set for July 31.

Unlike previous international MLBB tournaments, MSC 2025 will feature a single-elimination format with no lower bracket—meaning one loss spells immediate elimination.

Teams finishing in top 5 to 8 will take home a guaranteed payout of $100,000.
