BAGUIO CITY — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Cordillera has warned the public against individuals posing as PSA representatives who are allegedly conducting a fraudulent house-to-house survey.

According to the agency, the impostors are visiting households under the guise of a supposed "randomized raffle survey," during which they attempt to collect sensitive personal information such as names, ages, and income details—claiming it is part of an official PSA initiative.

“Please be informed that the PSA-CAR has no ongoing surveys about any raffle draw or contest. Similarly, all surveys conducted by the office precede official announcements, and all statistical researchers involved in official surveys are clothed with official identification and documentation from the agency,” the PSA-CAR said in a public advisory.

The agency stressed that any legitimate PSA activity is properly coordinated with local authorities and announced in advance through official channels.

Residents are urged to exercise caution and refrain from sharing personal details with individuals not properly identified. The PSA also advised the public to immediately report any suspicious activity to local authorities.

Concerns and reports may be directed to the PSA Cordillera office through landline number (074) 446-9412 or via their official Facebook page.
