Marcos visits Tanza evacuees
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited Tanza National High School on Saturday morning, where evacuees from Navotas are temporarily sheltered, following his inspection of the Tangos-Tanza Navigational Gate. Due to inclement weather, his planned visit to Bacolor, Pampanga was canceled. In Tanza, residents and children greeted the President warmly, with some embracing him during their brief exchanges. Meanwhile, his administration faces mounting criticism over the transparency and effectiveness of ongoing flood control efforts. As typhoons remain a persistent threat, all eyes are on how his administration will address disaster preparedness and implement long-delayed infrastructure reforms in the remaining years of his term.
