In response to the recent devastation caused by typhoons, the Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. (BCFI) and Solaire Cares are providing vital relief goods to affected communities.
Recognizing the urgent need for support, BCFI and Solaire Cares have mobilized resources to deliver essential items such as food, water, and hygiene products to affected families.
Their teams are working closely with the Parañaque and Quezon City local government units (LGUs) and disaster relief organizations to ensure aid reaches those most in need.
In Barangay Tambo, Parañaque, where floodwaters recently rose and strong winds brought fury, BCFI, the corporate social responsibility arm of Solaire Resort and Casino, brought relief.
Bags of aid were passed from hand to hand, “echoing a promise that no storm goes unanswered.” This is one stop in a journey through 16 Metro Manila barangays impacted by tropical storms “Crising,” “Dante” and typhoon “Emong.”
In Riverside, Barangay Don Galo, Parañaque, where floodwaters crept into homes and wind left its mark on rooftops, relief has arrived “not with fanfare, but with quiet resolve.”
Volunteers from BCFI moved deliberately through narrow streets, handing out relief goods and supplies to families still reeling from the storms. Each bag passed is described as a gesture of continuity, “a reminder that help, too, can travel door to door.”
