President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited Maly Elementary School in San Mateo, Rizal, on Thursday, 24 July 2025, to oversee relief distribution for 546 families, or 2,102 individuals, taking temporary refuge amid typhoons and the southwest monsoon. Marcos returned the night before from an official visit to the United States, where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump.
