The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) held a health caravan for Freeport stakeholders at the Subic Bay Gymnasium on 17 July, 2025.
A total of 618 stakeholders took part in the two-in-one event, which included the Ready for the Hands-Only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training, and the Bayanihan sa Kalusugan wellness activity.
According to SBMA Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño, the Hands-Only CPR and AED Training supports the Nationwide CPR Awareness Campaign of the national government. It was open to employees from SBFZ locators, as well as residents and students in the area.
The largest delegation came from SBMA employees, totaling 307 participants, followed by 160 from private companies, and 151 from local government units, teachers, and students.
He added that Bayanihan sa Kalusugan is a wellness initiative for SBMA employees, with support from doctors of The Medical City Clark. SBMA employees received free screening tests, samples, and medical consultations.
The chairman expressed his gratitude to the Philippine Heart Association–Philippine College of Cardiology, Philippine Heart Association Central Luzon Chapter, Olongapo City Medical Society, Philippine College of Occupational Medicine Olongapo City Chapter, Rotary District 3790, Unilab, Philippine Coastal Storage and Pipeline Corporation, and the Rotary Club of Subic Pearl.
