In addition to her sprawling couture wardrobe, actress Heart Evangelista has a new fashion week baon (must-have): her own skincare line!

At a recent launch in Makati City, Heart introduced Luxelle, a new beauty brand she co-owns, and its new product, Sun Serum with Centella. As seen in her Instagram posts, she now carries with her this skincare essential wherever she goes — from the Philippines to the fashion weeks abroad.

During the launch, Heart divulged that she and her team decided to come up with the new product since it is both a sunblock and a serum that she uses in the morning and in between activities.

“When I turned 40, I felt a shift. I wanted to focus on wellness and skincare, and that’s when the journey of the Sun Serum began!” she said in Instagram, noting that the serum-sunblock got sold out in less than 24 hours.

“Today, we officially launched it. To see your support, excitement, and belief over the past few days means the world to me,” she said.

She promised that this is just the start in her new business venture.

“Thank you for trusting us. This is only the beginning, and I’m so so grateful to be on this journey with you.”
