Strong Group Athletics (SGA) delivered a 32-point onslaught to Chinese Taipei-B, 107-75, for its fifth straight win in the 44th William Jones Cup at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City om Thursday.
Import Tajuan Agee posted his best performance in the tournament so far, dropping 25 points behind a 10-of-12 shooting clip for SGA as they remain undefeated in this prestigious competition.
SGA drained 14-of-31 attempts from beyond the arc for a 45.2 percent shooting rate, the team's highest output so far.
“Played great today. Guys were locked in from the start. Tajuan Agee was great and dominated them from the start. Best offensive basketball for us," SGA head coach Charles Tiu said.
“We are getting better every game. 27 assists and finally double-digit three-pointers made. It was a satisfying performance.”
SGA takes on Bahrain, which holds a 6-0 win-loss record, on Friday, at 3 p.m., on what could be the potential title decider.
