Entrepreneur and social media personality Josh Mojica on Monday admitted to using his cellphone while driving, following the release of a viral video showing him behind the wheel of a sports car on a highway.
In a statement released 7 July, Mojica confirmed he had received a show cause order and took full responsibility for the violation. “No excuses. That was my mistake. I take full responsibility,” he said.
The video, which showed Mojica recording himself in a Porsche, sparked backlash online. He acknowledged the act was dangerous and urged his followers, particularly young people, not to imitate his behavior.
“Don’t copy the driving. Copy the mindset. Copy the grind,” Mojica said, calling the incident a lesson in accountability and growth.
He ended his statement by thanking his supporters and added, “For now, I’m sticking to the backseat.”
