Who would’ve thought that what was once just a forest-covered hill in Siargao would become the island’s go-to destination for shopping, essentials, and more?
Siargao Town Center, founded in September 2021, rose from a patch of green into the island’s first and only commercial hub. But just three months later, Typhoon Odette came crashing in, leaving much of the island—and the center—in ruins. At that time, only Puregold had opened, and Handyman was still taking shape.
But giving up? Not an option.
Fueled by the vision and grit of its founder and chairman, Mr. Kenneth Shaw, the center pushed through the storm. What could have been the end turned into a bold new beginning.
Now, Siargao Town Center is thriving, home to major national brands like Puregold, Handyman, Mercury Drug, Bench, National Book Store, Fix Salon, The Baking Pantry, Andok’s, Meat Corner, Sweet Halika and White Beard, with more exciting tenants coming soon!
Locals and tourists alike now have a place to grab essentials, unwind, and enjoy a slice of modern convenience—without ever losing the island charm.
From forested hill to booming, Siargao Town Center is more than a commercial center — it’s a symbol of resilience, community, and island pride.
