The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has issued a public warning against several illegal offshore gaming sites falsely claiming to be licensed by the agency.
In a statement, PAGCOR said these websites are misusing the agency’s logo and displaying fabricated license certificates to deceive the public. Among the websites identified were efesbetcasino514.com, og7777.org, mpo500.com, QQ88.com, mpo2121.com, Lgolive.com, napolibet.com, kratosbet.com, mpossport.com, and efsanebahis434.com. Another flagged site, cazeus2.com, was reported to be operating from the United Kingdom.
“These platforms are not authorized to operate under any PAGCOR-issued license,” said PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco. “We want to make it very clear that the use of PAGCOR’s name and logo by these sites is a blatant disrespect to the agency and poses a threat to the public.”
Tengco urged Filipinos to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any online gaming platform before participating.
“We urge everyone to remain vigilant and to always verify the legitimacy of any gaming site before engaging in it,” he said.
Tengco also reminded the public that all Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGOs) were officially banned effective December 31, 2024. Entities or service providers previously licensed under the POGO framework that continue to operate are now considered illegal.
“Any entity claiming to operate under a PAGCOR license for offshore gaming is clearly violating the law and should be reported immediately,” Tengco emphasized.
PAGCOR advises the public to visit its official website at www.pagcor.ph to confirm the status of licensed gaming operators and avoid being victimized by fraudulent schemes.
